Samosir Music International is back for its 6th anniversary in 2023!

Join us for a lively celebration of music and culture at the Samosir Music International (SMI) festival, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Samosir Island, in the middle of the beautiful Lake Toba in North Sumatra, SMI promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Taking place on August 25th and 26th, this two-day festival will captivate audiences from Friday afternoon until evening on Saturday and we welcome everyone! Prepare to be entertained, as European musicians paying homage to Batak songs. In keeping with the concept of SMI, bands coming from Italy, Switzerland, and Malaysia will showcasing their own unique musical repertoires alongside the rich cultural heritage of Batak songs. All the artist are ready to set the stage ablaze, delivering a mesmerising experience for all attendees.
